The goal is to craft a 1:30 minute trailer that captures the essence of the film, highlighting its key themes and emotional beats. This project allows learners to apply their classroom knowledge of film editing and storytelling to a real-world scenario, providing them with valuable experience in the film production industry. Participants will work with high-quality footage and receive mentorship from industry professionals, enhancing their understanding of narrative pacing and visual storytelling. The project is designed to be completed by a team of learners within 80 hours, focusing on the art of trailer creation.
The primary deliverable for this project is a polished 1:30 minute trailer that effectively conveys the film's narrative and emotional tone. The trailer should be edited using professional video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. Additionally, learners are expected to submit a brief report detailing their creative process and the editing techniques employed. This project will culminate in a presentation of the trailer to A WWB Production, Inc., showcasing the learners' ability to translate a film's story into a compelling promotional piece.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
